What You Need to Bring:

• Curiosity and good humour

• Camera equipment and binoculars ( bring plenty of spare films)

• Comfortable worn – in walking shoes - Not new walking shoes, these will cause great discomfort and spoil your walk

• Sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent

• Light and comfortable clothing, A hat or cap is essential, warm clothes in the winter months

• Jacket and pullover for cool evenings ( please have a closer look at the climate hints)

Day 1, 2

After our rest from the last day of flying into Tanzania we take to the road towards Mikumi National Park which is very close to Dar es Salaam with a distances of 375km. as we drive in a fashioned way this will take us not less than 4hrs to arrive there by making it time for lunch. After our check in the hotel we than proceed to a half day game drive in the well vested national park which links to the southern game and the great Selous Game Park . Game drive is only allowed from 0600hrs to 1800hrs so close to this time we had back to our hotel for an overnight with the delicious meals they will prepare for us.

The next day we have an early morning game drive to try to have our last chance to spot the big five as they retreat into secluded places before sunrise. This time we greater chances to see the lions and the leopards on a kill or finishing up what was happening during the night. As we head back to hotel we have lunch and relax at the hotel and vicinity areas seeing how life is.

Day 3

Early morning we drive back to Dar es Salaam arriving early evening , which will be good time for crossing to Zanzibar but this means arriving late , however if there is no need to cross we can go to Kigamboni beaches for overnight .

Day 4

{ all these days that follow its up to you to spend them on the beaches relaxing or breaking them like below, spending sometime visiting places and then beaches , so activities are optional l have just put them so that one can see how you can spend days if beach relaxing is boring}

0930hrs we board a boat to Zanzibar taking us not more than 3hrs of a cruise. We will arrive around midday into Zanzibar and we check in at our hotel in the stone Town. After lunch we do a city tour in the narrow and enterprising streets. Dinner and overnight at hotel enjoying the Zanzibar cool winds outside.

Day 5

This day will take us to the spicy tour and the Jozani Forest for the Columbus monkeys to the south of city. After which we head to the Dolphins and there after beach relaxing.

Day6

This last full day so we head to the north for the slave chambers and the viewing of the places in the Nungwi area including Mwangapwani Cave. This time we also have a chance to visit cultural places and see how local people live in this touristic island. As soon as we finish touring we head to beaches to relax.

Day7

This is our goodbye day to Zanzibar as we head back to Dar es Salaam once again for the last leg of our tour depending with time the flight leaves we gone determine time to depart Zanzibar. This time it all depends with our budget we can fly back to Dar es Salaam or use the boat once again.
