Day 1: Cape Town - Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to hotel. Remainder of day at leisure as we enjoy the sun under the African roof.
Day 2: Cape Town - Full day tour to the Cape Peninsula; visit Hout Bay, ½ hr Duiker Island boat trip (optional, for own account & time permitting), Chapman’s Peak (if open), and Cape Point Nature Reserve. Return to Cape Town via Penguins (Optional, own account), Simons Town, Fish Hoek, Muizenberg and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. (B)

5 Days Cape Town and the Garden Route (SOUTH AFRICA) HBDD

Day1: Albertinia Depart from Cape Town and drive along drive along N2 towards Swellendam. Enjoy a Sunset Big 5 Game Drive at a private Game Reserve.
Day 2: Oudtshoorn Early morning Game drive to see some animals you perhaps didn’t see the evening before followed by a scrumptious breakfast! Depart for Oudtshoorn and drive over the spectacular Robinson Pass. Spend the afternoon at the Cango Caves and ride ostriches at the Cango Ostrich Farm.
Day 3: Storms River Village We all head over the stunning Outiniqua pass down to the coast. Once in Wilderness you will have a choice to make: canoeing on the Wilderness lagoon or walk along the beach.
Day 4: Swellendam Today you have the option of oceanic adventures by sporting the dolphins and the whales (in seasons) from a boat in Plettenberg Bay .After the boat cruise, we depart Plettenberg Bay and move to Knysna for lunch and we do the exploration. There after we tour the aloe factory and finally have an overnight in this place. Here is the option of going on the longest foefie-slide in Africa.
Day 5: There is time for one to see the Shark Cage diving if one wishes .There is a wine tasting and explore Hermanus including whale watching(in season).At Betty’s bay we visit the Penguins at Stony Point .After this we than we move back to Cape Town .

7 Days Cape Town to Cape Town Wildlife Safari (South Africa) HBDD

Day 1-2: Cape Town After arriving in Cape Town you will be taken to your hotel and then we take the cable car up Table Mountain ( own expense and weather permitting).Later we go on a city tour to see the company Gardens the SA Museum, Greenmarket Square, as well as Bo-kaap. Evening at leisure or explore the V&A Waterfront. The next day we spend exploring the Cape Peninsula, Hout Bay and Cape Point returning via the penguin colony.
Day 3-4: Cape Town to Cedarburg Our journey takes us to the beach on the Atlantic Ocean. We then go wine tasting in the “Swartland” area. After lunch we head for the Cedarburg Mountains. We spend the next day on a hike on the Sevilla Rock Art Trail. This afternoon we visit the quaint town of Wupperthal.
Day 5: Cedarburg to the Coast We first head to the Buffelsfontein Game and Nature Reserve and go on a game drive to see Buffalo, Elands, Springbok, Lion and Giraffe and later to the West Coast National Park.
Day 6: West Coast National Park and Cape Town We go back to Buffelsfontein for a morning game drive and have some time to explore more of the West Coast National Park. After lunch and a relaxing walk on the beach or a splash in the Atlantic, we head back to Cape Town.
Day 7: Cape Town The tour ends after breakfast this morning.

14 Days from Johannesburg to Johannesburg

Day 1: Johannesburg to Piet Relief, South Africa Our tours start in Johannesburg, South Africa; and we head south-east for the Kwa-zulu Natal battlefields to the small, historical town of Piet Retief.
Day 2-3: Umfolozi / Hluhluwe, South Africa We head through the battlefields of Kwa-zulu Natal to the game reserve of Hluhluwe / Umfolozi. On day 3 we enter the park for a game drive through big five country. After memorable drive we head back to our accommodation.
Day 4: St Lucia, South Africa For a short while will take a drive through the game reserve for last animal sighting in this region. Leaving the park we head to St Lucia World Heritage Site.
Day 5-6: Kosi Bay, South Africa Today we head north to Kosi Bay. Enjoy the next day relaxing at the beach or take part in some of the exciting optional activities offered.
Day 7: Maputo, Mozambique We cross the border into Mozambique. We reach the capital just after lunch and will conduct a short tour of this vibrant capital city (Maputo) to the fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceiao (Our Lady of Conception).
Day 8-9: Inhambane, Mozambique Today we carry on north as we head to the coastal town of Inhambane. We visit the Meracardo (market) famous for vegetables and fish. Catch a dhow and take a lazy cruise across the bay for lunch and cerveja (beer) in the town of Maxixe or visit the Old Catholic church in Inhambane.
Day 10: Limpopo Transfrontier Park, Mozambique We leave the paradise of Xai- Xai drive us and drive in a north- westerly direction towards Massingir.
Day 11-12: Kruger National Park, South Africa An early morning gate way takes us back into the South Africa World-Renowned Kruger National Park. The following day we depart for a full day of game viewing in the park with the chance of spotting big five again, whilst making our way to one of the southern camps. Our last night in the park will be enjoyed around the campfire with a typical South African Braai (BBQ)
Day 13: Johannesburg, South Africa Today we depart for Johannesburg, where you have the evening at leisure enjoying the African sun goes down.
Day 14: Tour ends We hope we were able to make this a spectacular and memorable safari.

  • Day 1: Botswana – Palapye We depart Johannesburg heading north to Botswana. After border formalities we continue towards Palapye, previously known as Phalatswe, where we will spend our first night. Palapye is located on the banks of the Lotsane River.
    Day 2 / 3 : Okavango Delta Our journey takes us through to Maun. We arrive in the afternoon where we leave our truck behind, board our planes, and head into the Delta. After a wonderful scenic flight we arrive at our base for the next two days. During our time in the Delta we enjoy the best nature has to offer. We go on nature walks and if possible will explore the Delta by mokoro. The Delta is truly spectacular and unforgettable experience.
    Day 4: Gweta After our scenic flight out, we leave the Delta behind us and travel east to Gweta. Gweta is located halfway between Maun and Nata, close to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.
    Day 5 :Chobe National Park Today we head north Kasane, on the banks of the Chobe River. Apart from being the 2nd biggest National Park in Botswana. Chobe NP is renowned for its high population of migratory elephants. The afternoon is spent game viewing on a boat cruise, into the renowned Chobe NP. This is an excellent opportunity to view some of Africa’s spectacular wildlife. You also have the chance to experience an early morning game drive the next day.
    Day 6: Zimbabwe After crossing into Zimbabwe, we arrive at our final destination of Victoria Falls. This afternoon we will go visit the spectacular Victoria Falls and experience the thundering sound of the mighty Zambezi. The popular optional sunset cruise includes dinner and drinks. Optional Activities: Chobe morning Game Drive, Zambezi Sunset cruise, Dinner Out.

    Day 5 : Gweta We depart the Delta with a scenic flight back to Maun, then head east to Gweta, where we overnight. We will usually spend the evening reminiscing around the campfire about our unforgettable Delta experience.
    Day 6 : Palapye We leave Gweta behind us and leave towards Palapye, previously known as Phalatswe, where we will spend the night. The town is located on the banks of the tranquil Lotsane River.
    Day 7 : Johannesburg Today we cross the border into South Africa and after quite a long, yet scenic, drive we will arrive in Johannesburg. South Africa’s city of gold has much to offer and should not be underestimated as a travel destination. There are many excellent restaurants here where we can enjoy a final meal together. Optional activity: Dinner out.

  • Day 1 : Swakopmund IN Swakopmund you will be briefed on the optional activities available here. Day 1 is free for you to explore the town or try one of the many adventure activities: Quad biking, Sand boarding, Sky Diving, Dolphin Cruise, Scenic Flights, and Fishing etc
    Day 2: Spitzkoppe We leave all trappings of modern life behind us and drive inland to the mysterious Spitzkoppe. Tonight we camp in the wild.
    Day 3: Himba Tribes After some early exploration we continue inland and drive towards Kamanjab. The Himba are a pastoral people and predominantly breed cattle or goats, they are easily recognizable by their unique style of dress.
    Day 4 / 5 : Etosha National Park Etosha NP is the venue for some of the most unique game viewing experiences in Africa. We will go on various game drives, and spend our evenings at the abundant water holes for some excellent game photography.
    Day 6 : Windhoek After an early morning game drive we set off towards Windhoek in the centre of Namibia. On the way we stop at a popular craft market. In the afternoon we go on a short city tour. Optional Activities: Dinner out at Joes Beer House.
    Day 7 : Ghanzi – Botswana It is a scenic drive to the Buitepos border, where we cross into Botswana. Once at camp we will meet a local Bushmen community and experience some traditional Tribal Dancing.
    Day 8 / 9 / 10 : Maun – Okavango Delta Another early day! Our journey takes us from Ghanzi towards Maun. We spend the night here and prepare for our two night bush – camping experience. Your guides will provide you with a briefing about the next few days’ activities and the communities run tourism operation. From here we will enter the Delta using local transport. If the water level allows we will take a mokoro (traditional canoe) trip a well as a nature walk with the local people.
    Day 11 : Gweta We leave the Delta behind us and travel east to Gweta, which is located halfway between Maun and Nata, near the Makgadikgadi Pans NP.
    Day 12 : Botswana – Chobe National Park When we arrive at Kasane we set up camp on the bank of the Chobe River. The afternoon is spent game viewing from a boat in the Chobe NP. This is an excellent opportunity to view Africa’s spectacular wildlife. You will have the chance to experience an early morning game drive the following day.
    Day 13 : Zimbabwe – Victoria Falls On arrival in Victoria Falls we have time to plan the next day’s adventure activities before we visit the spectacular Victoria Falls National Park and experience the thundering of the mighty Zambezi. The popular optional sunset cruise includes dinner and drinks. Optional Activities: Chobe Morning Game Drive, Zambezi Sunset Cruise

    Day 1 : Harare Arrival and relaxing at the hotel
    Day 2 : Harare After breakfast we head to the heroes acre site. This places the place were we have the national legendary of the liberation wars have been and are still buried. The recognized sons and daughters of Zimbabwe are laid to rest at this place. After this we move to the Queen Victoria Museum a human science museum (QVM) which houses the historical documentation and depicting images and pictures and have lunch in the city center.

    After lunch we move to Harare Botanical Garden, where we will see mostly all local trees in there assortment but under the same place. It is especially a garden that was established to take care of the indigenous trees for research purposes. Then we go to Ewanrig Flower garden were we will see the very flowers of the world after this we move to our hotel and enjoy the city of Harare at night.

    Day 3 : Chinhoyi Caves After breakfast we drive towards west to Chinhoyi Caves were we will take about 2 hrs? We explore the area and we enter the caves which will just an hr. We than go into the villages to see and make you mix with locals and see how people live in this country. Than we have our night at the caves.
    Day 4 : Gweru Antelope Park After the breakfast we drive towards Gweru .In Gweru we will get a chance to see one of the biggest antelope park. This park is the full house to the antelopes so there is a need to have an evening game drive after which we take a rest and sleep at this place. The following day very early in the morning we have a game drive which will make us see the animals in their morning buzz. There are these activities walking with lions which are optional and there needs to be an extra cost paid per 30 minutes. After this we have lunch we have lunch in this place. After lunch we drive to Bulawayo.
    Day 5 Great Zimbabwe Scenic drives to Masvingo, Great Zimbabwe were the name of the country derived from. This ancient stone city spans an area of 720 hectares and gave the modern nation of Zimbabwe its name. This is the largest stone structure in Africa after the Pyramids. The entire city was built using individually shaped and placed stones creating walls 2 metres thick and up to 11 metres high. Take a guided tour and discover the secrets of the towers and passageways. Your hotel is close to the Zimbabwe Ruins staying in the shalets or has a camp.
    Day 6 : Matobo National Park The rocks that form the Matopos Hills are over three billion years old making them some of the oldest on earth.Mzilikazi-the Zulu warlord and founder of the Ndebele nation gave them the name matopo, meaning bald head. This perfectly describes the unforgettable landscape of granite humpbacks and balancing rocks that Matobo National Park is so famous for. You will spend a full day with a professional guide searching for rhino, viewing the grave of Cecil John Rhodes and ancient Bushmen paintings. Your lodge is on the edge of the Matobo Park, surrounded by granite kopjes and African bush.
    Day 7 / 8 : Hwange National Park This is Zimbabwe’s largest park with amazing ecological diversity, teeming with game. You will stay in a safari lodge out of the park. Early morning rise for a full days guided game drive. Seek out the 100 mammal and 400 bird species.
    Day 9 : Victoria Falls Most people arrive a few days early to enjoy Victoria Falls. View the falls as you wander through the rainforest that is created from the spray of a million litres of water crashing every second into the boiling pot below. There are a multitude of other activities to be sampled. Your hotel is within walking distance from the falls and the centre of town.
    Day 10 : Victoria Falls Most people will spend the day white water rafting, a not –to-be-missed experience of a lifetime! Victoria Falls offers many exciting alternatives. Optional activities: White Water Rafting, Bungee Jump, Elephant Excursion.

    Day 1 : Arrival in Harare and relax at your lodge or explore the many shops, restaurant, museums and colorful African markets.
    Day 2 / 3 : Eastern Highlands We continue our travels to the stunning Eastern Highlands and the Vumba and Nyanga mountain ranges. These mountains form a natural border with Mozambique.
    In this area you have a very good chance to see the tallest waterfalls of Mtarazi Falls and the Nyangombe Falls .There is also a chance to do fishing of the trout fish and visiting the historical sites of Ziwa Ruins and the earliest bushman kraal in its intact shape at Nyanga national park. There is also the mysterious Mt Nyangani which is believed to so scaring and has its own laws to climb it. It is one other Mt in Zimbabwe that is very much respected due to its mystery that is associated with it. Overnight we sleep at Ziwa site which is just below the Ziwa Mt which is deep in the bush where the only music you here there is the hyenas laughing the whole night.
    On day 3 we head to Mutare which is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa because of the location ands the features that are surrounding this city you would love to see this place. We have our overnight at Manica Lodge which is named after the area.
    Day 4 : Mutare After breakfast we do a settler drive to the Vumba heights which is part of the range of mountains from South Africa .This range is the same range that links this area to Nyanga and Chimanimani. Up we go through the White Horse Inn. We do the cultural tour in the area this is the place we will see the interchanging of culture from the Mozambique into Zimbabwe. This area oversees Mozambique having one of the points having an altitude of 1611m This point is called Mt Nyakurimba. At this area there is one of the most famous golf courses in the world the Leopard Rock Golf course. We close this mountain drive with a cup of coffee at Tony’s coffee shop. (It is at this point were one of the earliest explores managed to see the Indian ocean using one of his strongest binoculars.).Overnight at Christmas Pass Camp site as we overlook the Mutare city below us from the top of the hill.
    Day 5 : Great Zimbabwe After our breakfast we have scenic drive to Masvingo city on our way to see Great Zimbabwe were the name of the country has been derived from. This place called Great Zimbabwe is the Old Kingdom of southern Africa, were the rulers of those times were based at.
    Stop over at Nyanyadzi Hot Spring and picnic lunch will be served there whilst we are exploring the hot springs for an hour. We depart for Bechnough Bridge, the most beautiful bridge and the surrounded by local fields.
    We continue our travels to the city formerly called Fort Victoria during colonial era, now is named Masvingo. Half an hour stop over for banking services to those who want to change their moneys. Arriving at Great Zimbabwe before sundown and we settle our camp and start the adventure by climbing the 100 m high Mountain for standing a chance to see the sundown and after our descend we spent the evening surrounding our campfire sharing jokes.
    Day 6 : Great Zimbabwe We woke up early and ascent again that 100 m High Mountain for sun rise and later we proceed with exploring the whole monument, a guide will let us in and out of the walls and discover the secrets of the tower and passageways. This is the largest stone city spans an area of 120km on a 720 hectares of land. This is the largest stone structure after the Pyramids of Egypt. The entire city was built using individually shaped and placed stones creating walls 2 meters thick and up to 11 meters high. After lunch we move to the Mtirikwi dam and we enjoy the blue waters of the second largest man made dam in Zimbabwe after Kariba dam. Later we climb again the hill complex to enjoy the sunset and than dinner and overnight at the chalets.
    Day 7 & 8 : Bulawayo After breakfast we start our journey to Gweru to stop at the Antelope Park to have your dreams to walk with the lions. There are other places of interesting to see along the journey and having our lunch along the way. Later we will be in Bulawayo and have a city tour and of great importance will be the Bulawayo Museum where we have the science artifacts for the overnight. This is also the place were the African record of the greatest elephant statute is erected
    After breakfast we drive to Matopo Hills in the Matopo National Parks. These hills are dated some 3 billion years old making them the oldest on earth. The name was given by the Ndebele people. King Mzilikazi a Zulu was the founder and warlord of Ndebele Kingdom. This name means a bald head this perfectly describes the unforgettable landscape of granite humpbacks and balancing rocks at Matopo National Park’s so famous for. After this you will see the graves of John Cecil Rhodes and search for the White Rhinos and seeing the bushman paintings. Overnight at the lodge surrounded by granite kopjes and African bushes.
    Day 9 & 10 :Hwange National Park After breakfast we drive towards Hwange enroute to Victoria Falls. In Hwange we will see the Zimbabwe’s largest park with amazing ecological diversity, teeming with game. You will stay in a lodge on the edge of the park.
    The next day we will continue with our tour and game drive for a full day to have a chance to see the 100 mammals and over 400 birds.
    Day 11 & 12 : Victoria Falls View the fall as you wander through the rainforest that is created from the spray of a million liters of water crashing every second into the boiling pot below. We have our dinner and overnight at Rest camp. This is the end of the safari. There are other activities that one might need to undertake, these attract extra charge and extra time. Victoria Falls offers many exciting alternatives. Optional activities: White Water Rafting, Bungee Jump, Elephant Excursion.Those who need to drive back or fly out can do so here.
