The Wild Trail to the Historical Site Pangani (12 Day Authentic Safari)

 

 

 

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve

Pick-up from Hotel and drive to the Selous Game Reserve. Check in at Lake Manze Tended Camp and hot lunch as our welcome letter. Afternoon games drive till sundown. Overnight at camp (L, D)

Day 2 – 4: At Lake Manze, full board accommodation and excursions (game drive + boat and walking safari) meals and accommodation as per the days on full board basis. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Drive to Mikumi National Park and then welcomed by afternoon game drive till sundown and overnight stay at Vuma Tented Hill Camp on full board basis. (B, L, D)

Day 6: Drive to Saadani National Park, and check-in at A Tent with a View lodge, on a half board basis and two activities a day. (B, L, D)

Day 7 – 9: At A Tent with a View, on a full board basis and two activities a day. (B, L, D)

 

 

 

Day 10 -11: Pangani Historical Site

Depart heading off towards Pangani and accommodation on a half board basis at Tides day 10 and day 11 full board. One half day historical walking tour of Pangani, exploring the long and fascinating history of Pangani from ancient times, to Portuguese settlers, Arab Slave and Ivory Traders to the Colonial history during the German and the British rule (B, L, D)

Optional Activities: snorkeling, fishing, sea kayaking, scuba diving, dhow sailing, bicycle hire, kite and surfing!!!

 

 

 

 

Day 12: Dar es Salaam & Fly Home

Afternoon departure from Pangani to Tanga for flight of 16:00 Hrs fly to Dar es Salaam and then transfer to town or to international terminal for your onwards travel arrangements.

Cost Include: Flights, 4 x4 landcruiser /landrover safari vehicle, accommodation, meals, entrance fees, conservation fees, 1 litre mineral water during safari days and juice, emergency evacuation cover, boat safari both Selous and Saadani & walking safari, Pangani half day tour
