Day 1, Arrive in Dar es Salaam at Julius Nyerere International Airport and transfer to Peacock Hotel in the city center for over night. Optional city tour by walking just to mark your entry in Tanzania. Dinner will be at own expense.

Day 2 Drive to Moshi for a distance of 700km or fly on a very interesting country side drive. On the way, you watch and enjoy the beautiful scenery and varying geographical landscape to northern Tanzania. This day leads to our Mt Kilimanjaro climb. Dinner and overnight stay at Arusha Hotel or Similar Hotel (Dinner own Expense)

Kilimanjaro Trek – Marangu Route Your guide will be assessing everyone’s skills for climbing adventure as well as answering any questions you may have.

The Marangu Route is probably followed by ninety percent of all climbers. It has a well defined path, which has been well set out and where most obstacles have been modified to make them “climber friendly”. This is a very scenic route with good views of Mawenzi and excellent prospects for viewing wildlife.

Day 1: Marangu gate – Mandara Hut

After breakfast, we are off, heading towards Marangu Gate for the climb.

Left luggage will be kept at the hotel.

The Climb

First section of the climb, through the mountain forest to Mandara Hut (alt.2750m) takes 3 to 4 hours. Overnight and dinner at Mandara Hut.

Day 2: Horombo Hut

Leaving the forest, we trek along a good path through open grassy moorland to reach Horombo Hut (alt. 4700m), taking us 5 to 7 hours. Overnight and dinner at Horombo Hut

Breakfast, Lunch Box and cooked Dinner

Day 3: Horombo Hut

The day will be spent at the Horombo hut. The day at leisure, experiencing the alluring beauty of Kilimanjaro Mountain sunset and views of Moshi Vicinity (weather dependent), savoring a glass of sparkling wine. Breakfast, lunch and dinner here.

Day 4: Kibo Hut

Continue ascending past “the last water point” traversing the saddle between Kibo and Mawenzi to Kibo Hut (alt 4700m), taking 5 to 7 hours. Overnight Kibo Hut

Day 5: Horombo Hut

An early start for the summit on steep and heavy screed up to Gilman’s Point (alt. 5681m) on the crater rim to arrive in time for sunrise. Continue on to Uhuru Peak (alt. 5896m), the highest point in Africa. Descend to Horombo Hut for overnight taking 7 to 8 hours ascent and 4 to 7 hours descent. Overnight Horombo Hut

Breakfast cooked, Lunch box and cooked Dinner

Kibo Palace Hotel

Descend the mountain to the Park Gate taking 5 to 7 hours to be met and transferred to Arusha for mouth watering dinner and overnight stay at Kibo Palace Hotel.

If you conquered the summit you will receive your summit certificate at the gate. Green for Gilman’s Point and Gold for those that reached Uhuru Peak.

Then, it’s a drive to Arusha for a hot shower and a well-deserved rest at Arusha Hotel for Bed & breakfast (Dinner own expense)

Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, lake Manyara 4 Days Game drives.

These days will be for the game drive in the Serengeti plains and Ngorongoro Crater plus Lake Manyara National Parks.

Early in the morning we leave Kibo Hotel towards Serengeti National park through the broken lands of the most popular places along the road. After our arrival we will have a game drive in the plains of this most popular national park. The migration will be moving out towards Massai Mara. Dinner and overnight at local a camp site or hotel.

Day 6

We have an early morning game drive that will give us chance to capture the early morning kills by the lions and retreating nocturnal animals like the leopards and others. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu lodge close to Olduvai Gorge for an early morning historical lecture at the center for Dr Leakey’s discovery of mankind through his archeological research.

Day 7

We have a tour of the historical museum and the foot prints that are on the rock, after which we head to Ngorongoro Crater for descend in to the crater and enjoy a game, drive in a different scenario. This is a rim like park and walls stand 600m high. This is the chance once again to see the lions and Rhinoceros that are heavily protected. Over night and dinner at a local lodge just outside the crater.

Day 8

Enter Lake Manyara for a game drive in the longitudinal park rich in all bird and primates life. There is a cliff park with hot springs, more chances to see giraffes and buffalos at close range as this park has, its water bam running naturally at par with the long cliff. Our tour leaders will be the baboons leading the vehicle all the way in the game drive until they get tired they will disappear. After this we head back to Arusha town for our overnight and ponder our way back to Dar. Its either we take flights or drive back by luxury mini bus.

Day 9

We can drive back to Dar es Salaam or fly for our early evening departure. Driving takes not less than 8 hrs while flying will take us about 90mins. Arrive in Dar and transfer to airport for the departure back home.
